World of Ki'larn

Mapped with Campaign Cartographer 2

You see, sitting on a stone, a wizened elf. In his lap is some brown crinkled parchment on which he is writing As you approach, the elves eyebrows raise. He stops writing and looks up.

“Welcome traveler! Allow me to introduce myself, I am Zinthas, cleric of Ephertain, writer of histories, collector of coinage, knower of many things. Sit in the shade and allow me to relate to you some of the valuable knowledge that I have gathered. I will be generous this day, and will not charge you. I only ask a sip of your water, and a small bite of your bread. I will tell you of the land, the people, and the deities that make this world magical and adventurous world.

There are many races here: the Elves of Nerol, the Dwarves of Kairn Glock, and the Humans of Halus, as well as the Kelds, the Sitherans, and the Triflings. Ki'Larn is a world of boundless opportunity. Females and males alike, number among the warriors of the world. Spellcasters draw into their ranks, all of the races. The gods grant powers to any who wish to hear them. Valor and skill weigh more than the race to which one was born.

For all the peoples of the world, there is but one pantheon of deities. While known by different names, they are but the same. Some deities may have no voice in certain areas, w hile others have clerics whose numbers rival the stars in the heavens.

The land itself is diverse in the extreme, ranging from the jungles of Miwanta, to the frozen planes of Nagra. Flying over the grand expanse of the world, is the fiery being of J'Ogk that brings light to our world. Chasing him through the night sky are his three lovers.

Come, explore, enjoy! Oh, and make sure to take care as you adventure through this dangerous world. I seem to have made a bigger dent in your water, and bread supplies than I first intended. You may want to replenish it.”

With that, there is a flash of light, and when your sight returns, the old elf is gone.
