PollysisGoddess of Pestilence, Decay and Murder Long ago, the Queen of Decay tricked Mighty Malut, God of Souls, Judgement and Arbitration, out of his shepherd's hook. With this hook she has brought undeath to this world. The story of undeath is told here. When she stole the hook, she also lost her hand. It still grips the hook tightly. Pollysis has very few friends among the gods. One of those friends is Ursis, the Goddess of Pain, Suffering and Disease. Together these two love to bring misery to the world. ManifestationsPollysis is easily angered. When one of her followers has angered her, she will appear to them as themselves. They will see their own death, most often portrayed in a very brutal fashion, as well as be forced to watch as their bodies rot away. During this death vision, Pollysis will be speaking to them in their voice from their corpse. Pollysis will also come to her followers as a swarm of angry insects, often locusts or hornets. The insects will fill their field of vision, and blacken the sky with their numbers. From this swarm Pollysis will send her message through the buzzing of the insects. Many followers have gained a tremendous fear of insects from one of her visions. Most often, only those to whome she is speaking will see this vision, however, it has been told she has filled entire villages with this horrific vision. MinionsPollysis, lover of death, has many minions. One of her favorite horrors
are animated severed hands, often called the 'Hand of Pollysis'. Pollysis
enjoys bringing undeath to the world, and these hands are a horrifying
way to do so. After losing her hand to Malut, she decided that these would
make a powerful symbol of her power. She didn't want Malut to have the
satisfaction of chopping off her hand, so she created these foul beings. The hands are normally taken from corpses and re-animated. These hands
will attack any in their way, sometimes even followers of Pollysis. The
hands will jump upon their victims and strangle them to death, or rather
undeath. If these hands kill, the being will become undead. Pollysis enjoys
releasing hordes of these creatures onto towns. Many of the hands are
defeated, but many of them will fulfill their task and bring more undeath
to the world. SymbolGreetingPriestly attirePriestly: Daily: Organization of the Church Priestly activities
